Geraldine Riley

Born in 1974, Geraldine Riley is an emerging Warlpiri artist from Willowra, a remote community north-west of Alice Springs.  Geraldine paints the wild bush flowers that grow in her country.  Geraldine’s style of painting the bush flowers often contains a repetition of fine patterning including small dots and thin lines.  Geraldine paints her canvases with a very meticulous hand, often in a monochromatic or reduced colour palette.
