This is Aboriginal Art is a gallery and studio space based in Mparntwe, Alice Springs in Central Australia. We offer quality, authentic and ethically sourced Aboriginal art for sale, painted by leading Aboriginal artists. We work to connect the most sought-after Aboriginal artists with collectors and art admirers across the world, as well as supporting emerging artists from the Central and Western Desert regions.All artworks are sent unstretched, and securely rolled into a postal tube for safe delivery. All artworks are supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity and any other relevant documentation. -

We believe self-determination starts with the right to choose how you work. Some of our artists prefer painting at home, some at their community art centre, some in our on-site studio, and many move between all three. We let the artists decide, and we work respectfully and fairly with both independent artists and art centres. This Is Aboriginal Art is a member of the Aboriginal Art Association of Australia, where our director serves as Secretary on the Board, and of the Art Consulting Association of Australia. Founded on 20 years in Aboriginal art
Director Venita Poblocki opened This Is Aboriginal Art in 2017 after a career spanning both sides of the industry: a Masters in Arts Administration (Curatorship) from UNSW, Aboriginal art specialist at Lawson Menzies Auctioneers, manager of two of Sydney's major Aboriginal art galleries, council curator, and curator of the John Fries Art Award. Every artwork we sell is an original, hand-painted by the Aboriginal artist named on it. We don't sell prints. Every artwork leaves with a Certificate of Authenticity and full documentation. Paintings are sent unstretched, rolled securely in a postal tube: flat-rate $35 or $75 shipping within Australia, and worldwide delivery calculated at checkout. New to collecting?
