Rosemary was granted the permission to paint the bush medicine leaf dreaming from her cousin and acclaimed Aboriginal artist, Gloria Petyarre (dec.). Rosemary is an accomplished bush medicine leaf painter, capturing the movement, depth and rhythm of the leaves as they dry in the wind. Bush medicine is a deeply significant part of Aboriginal culture, and by painting it, artists pay homage to the spirit of the plants in the hopes they will continue to regenerate and offer its healing properties. Rosemary expresses her innate sense of colour in her artworks, and is a much sought-after artist.
