Sacha is the daughter of artist, Marcia Turner, and predominantly paints the bush medicine leaf design made famous by fellow Utopian artist, Gloria Pitjara (Petyarre). Traditionally, women gather the bush medicine leaves and dry them out in the sun, and proceed to crush them into a fine powder and mix them with animal fats to extract the medicinal qualities. Sacha's use of bright, contrasting colours create depth and rhythm across the canvas. Sacha is an extremely promising emerging artist with sought-after artworks.
