Genevieve Loy Kamara paints the Country of her father, Cowboy Loy Pwerle (dec.), and the story of the Bush Turkey, for which he was the senior custodian. The common name for the 'bush turkey' is the Australian Bustard; large, mostly ground-dwelling nomadic birds. Genevieve's paintings are intricately painted, depicting the tracks of the bush turkey as it makes its way to the waterhole, digging for seeds and other tucker.
