Meredith Curley paints a major Dreaming songline from her country in this artwork, the Ngintaka story. This is a significant story about a lizard-man who stole a grinding stone and was subsequently pursued across country before meeting his fate. In this artwork, Meredith depicts the cave where Ngintaka and his wife, the Echidna, were on honeymoon. While on honeymoon, they indulged in a sweet treat found on eucalyptus leaves (a type of a chrysalis).
