Janet Golder Kngwarreye has recently created a fresh artistic expression of her country and culture, titled, My Country. In these artworks, Janet encapsulates aspects of her country and in particular, women's business. Employing traditional iconography, Janet paints symbols referencing women’s body paint designs, preparation of bush medicines, the gathering of bush tucker including pencil yams, seeds and plums, and aspects of women's ceremony.
