Eddie paints using the technique of cross-hatching or 'rarrk', a style that is used largely by Aboriginal artists from the topo of the Northern Territory, particularly in Arnhemland. Through traditional pathways, Eddie has earned permission to paint the spirit ancestors, custodial stories, and flora and fauna of his homeland. Eddie paints several Dreamings, including the Rainbow Serpent, Mimi and Lightning Spirits, and Billabong Dreamings.
