Using the traditional dot and line work of the Western Desert art movement, Rosemary paints the Echidna Dreaming story that was taught to her by her grandmother. Horizontal and vertical stripes represent elements of women’s body paint designs, and the rounded forms represent the echidna, or ‘porcupine’ as they are often called by Aboriginal people.
