Alison paints the Seven Sisters Dreaming (Rockholes) story, detailing the rockholes in and around the Musgrave & Petermann Ranges through which the sisters passed while trying to escape the 'bad man', Wati Nyiru. Nyiru would hide in the rockholes and try to take one of the sisters when they would stop to rest. Kungkakarangkalpa Tjukurrpa (Seven Sisters Dreaming) is an important and layered story that varies between regions and language groups, but all variations are imbued with cultural meaning. Alison Munti Riley paints the section of this significant story that takes place on the ground, on her country, before the sisters turn themselves in to stars.
