Amelia prefers to paint with bold brush strokes, and is developing her own individual style while learning culture and story from her mother and other family members. Amelia often paints lizards & perentie (ngintaka) that are prolific in Amelia’s country and provide an important food and medicinal source. There is also a significant ngintaka songline that passes through Amelia’s country. Amelia’s painting style contains a youthful and carefree energy, and she paints in bright, expressive colour palettes. In her spare time, Amelia likes to play softball. Amelia’s stories include the Seven Sisters Dreaming story, the Ngintaka story and beloved bush tucker of Bush Tomatoes.
