In this painting, Sabrina depicts the topographic features of her country, a region several hundred kilometres north-west of Mparntwe (Alice Springs). Here she paints waterholes and dry creek beds, around which the moisture in the soil allows plants to flourish, nourishing the surrounding bush medicine plants and bush foods, such as the wild bush onion. Women collect, cook and eat the nutritious onion. The waterholes are represented by the central roundels, and the myriad of white dots and then the dotted lines are representative of the onion and bush medicines. Sabrina paints in reduced or monochromatic palette, employing a meticulous dotting style that is typical of artists from Willowra.
