In this painting, Sabrina depicts the topographic features of her country, a region several hundred kilometres north-west of Mparntwe (Alice Springs). Here she paints waterholes and dry creek beds, around which the moisture in the soil allows plants to flourish, nourishing the surrounding bush medicine plants, bush foods and wildlife. Deep knowledge of the features of their land, particularly knowledge of water sources, is very important to the Aboriginal people in arid desert country. Sabrina paints in reduced or monochromatic palette, employing a meticulous dotting style that is typical of artists from Willowra.
