Tanya grew up watching her family paint and now continues this tradition. Here, Tanya paints Bush Plum Dreaming, depicting the sites where the bush tucker can be found, their various stages of ripening, and the paths of the women who collect them. The bush plum is an important source of
vitamin C and is much sought-after for its nutritional value. The women also
conduct song and ceremony to the bush plum in the hope that it will continue to
provide for them.
